Who we are

Aura House Yoga Studio LLC ("Aura House", "we") runs the studio in Rancho Mirage, California, this website and the Aura House app. This policy explains what we collect when you use them, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and, if you add it, your phone number.
Bookings and purchases: the classes you book, cancel or wait for, the passes and memberships you buy, your account credit, and check-ins at the studio.
Your liability waiver: the name, typed signature and date you sign with, a parent or guardian name for minors, and the internet address and browser recorded at signing as part of the signed record.
Payments: cards are entered into a form run by Square, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We keep the card type, last four digits and expiry date so you can choose a saved card.
The app: a notification token for your phone when you allow notifications, and the app version.
Website use: the pages you visit, the site that referred you, your device type and an anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser. We use your internet address briefly to prevent abuse and do not store it with this information.
Messages you send us: contact form messages and newsletter sign-ups.

How we use it

To run your bookings, waitlist spots, passes, memberships and account credit.
To take payments and apply discounts and credits.
To send booking confirmations, receipts and account messages, and, if you leave them on, class reminders and studio announcements.
To keep the signed waiver the studio needs before your first class.
To answer your messages and to understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising across other sites or apps.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that run these services for us, under their own privacy and security terms: Square (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website and app hosting), Neon (database) and Expo and Apple (app notifications). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while you use it. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and booking history. We keep your signed waiver and payment records for as long as the law and our accounting require.

Your choices and rights

Change your name and phone number, and turn class reminders and studio announcements on or off, on your account page or in the app.
Delete your account at any time from your account page or the app, or by emailing us.
California residents can ask what personal information we hold about them, ask us to correct or delete it, and will not be treated differently for asking. Email us and we will respond within 45 days.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Students under 18 attend with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Security

Your information travels over encrypted connections, sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, and payment details stay with Square. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you notice anything unusual on your account.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date below and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
